metal fence 5 x 4 m, furniture, decoration
tent, signs, chain and lock
Twenty square meters of a public park were privatized in the course of the 2015 Open Art Biennial at the Swedish city of Örebro. One fence surrounding the space was kept under lock and I was the only one with the key. I also spent 5 days living there interacting with the space and audience like if it were my home, for that I took some personal objects and furniture to make the space more livable. This project came third in a series focused on problematizing a contradictory ideal that is systematically legitimized at our socio-economic system. Through changing contexts I wanted to delve and investigate the known dynamics, manipulating them and reverting the generally assumed cultural conditions in housing.
